New Animations, Themes, and Icons
MIUI 13 is coming with optimized animations to the custom interface. MIUI 12 came with major changes in mobile screen animation effects and the upcoming MIUI 13 will be coming with another next level of animation effects. Xiaomi is collecting data and feedback through surveys from the users for the improvements in the upcoming MIUI updates.
Wallpapers-based themes with smoother and more natural animations which include new designs for system icons. With the help of a new tool provided in the update, users can create their own super-live wallpapers. In the same way, users can design various wallpaper by using their own photos and videos. This is one of the most exciting features for all Xiaomi users.
Fast Charging and Power Management
This is one of the areas where MIUI 13 is hardly working on improving its power optimization. As a result, this feature will help Xiaomi to introduce “low battery mode” across all its devices. This can be achieved by optimizing the overall user interface to consume lesser resources hence less power. It also offers “multiple battery modes”. In extreme situations even there is an option of “ultra power-saving mode”.
New Always-On Display
It is expected to get an update on the MIUI always-on display from the trickle-down effect of Android 12. There will be changes from its general overhaul of MIUI. Optimization and enhancements are ongoing in such a way that always-on display will be adapted to the various lighting situations automatically and for showing notifications in an automated way with a show or hide as per users choices.
Without opening the smartphone lock or turning on the screen now users can see the time, date, and notifications. The AOD comes with a display-on feature for showing time and date without literally turning on the screen.
Airplane Mode with Scheduling Option
Now in the upcoming MIUI 13 users can schedule the airplane mode to turn ON or turn OFF as per users’ needs. Although there are plans to add some other scheduling options by Xiaomi in MIUI updates, this is the latest feature expected to arrive in the MIUI 13 update.
App pinning on the share screen is one of the features that help many users to get the ability to pin their most-used apps to the window that opens every time you tap on the Share button from anywhere on your phone.
Advanced Privacy Options
Serving ads within the interface by the MIUI faced much criticism and that lost confidence of many users in the case of privacy. The company hopes that by the release of MIUI 13 these issues shall be cleared. The new update may add many new settings and options to streamline your privacy factor on the device. This has been in line with the new privacy analytics that Google premiered with Android 12.
The notifications management has been made much easier than before. We can see the improvement of this segment with MIUI 13. Users can adjust notification alerts based on more customizable factors. There are more options to manage incoming alerts and they may be further unified into a slide-down menu and quick settings options on the new MIUI.
Memory Fusion Technology
The upcoming MIUI 13 will come with memory fusion technology. This is similar to the virtual RAM feature present on some smartphones like Vivo and OPPO.
Floating Game Windows
The upcoming MIUI 13 will also come with a new floating game window. This will allow users to run the games in a small window mode.
Improvements in User Interface
Improvements in the overall user experience are expected in MIUI 13. There will be several changes in the latest upgrade which includes capturing users’ eyes while using a smartphone. The company is working hard to add more realistic interface gestures in upcoming updates.
